Hi everyone! So now we’re into February and year-end, and January has passed us by, which seems crazy. The last month and a half has been an absolute whirlwind for us. Year-end came and went, and right after we got all of the January business squared away and Christmas had passed, COVID got us. Everyone, fortunately, is fine, with no lingering side effects that we’re aware of at this point. But it did get about half the office, so we’ve had a good deal of quarantining going on, which is hopefully behind us now that we’ve all got the anti-bodies of the virus(we hope).
We have some exciting news to share. Earlier in December, we had Jason Meadors join our team. We are super excited about this! Jason has a background in disability claims management, so he already has that attention to detail that you really need in our industry. He is starting out by helping Farah with HR & eligibility projects, but he is learning fast, so we expect him to move up and take on more responsibilities very quickly. The future is very bright for Jason, and we’re happy to have him on board.
Last but not least, we are moving! We purchased our own building in 2020 but have been waiting for the tenants to move out. Effective February 1st, we will have a new address. We’re excited to be going from a renter to an owner and are really happy about the part of town we’re in. We’re not going far. We’ll be just down Elm St. about 2 miles past Deep Ellum in the Peak Addition neighborhood. Lots of turnover and churn down there, and we hear it’s a great business community, so we’re excited to jump in feet first.
