Some new and exciting changes have happened recently at H|BC. Between a big move and fun engagement events, we have had a great start to 2022. Let’s dive in to find out what has happened so far this year.
Holloway’s Big Move
We are excited to announce our recent move to Ryan’s (our founder) home turf in East Dallas. We are the proud owners of a new office located in the hip Peak’s Addition neighborhood of East Dallas. The pride of ownership we feel is indescribable, and we are so happy to have a space to call our own.
Our new office space is a home-away-from-home, an apartment to office conversion which feels more down-to-earth and personal, like our relationships with our clients. We want clients to come here and know that they matter to us. This is our home, and we treat everyone, employees and clients included, like family.
Since we spend a great deal of our week in the office, we wanted it to be a more physically and mentally healthy environment. It has a fully equipped kitchen which means we are all cooking and eating healthier. Our conference table doubles as a sports table, so we can blow off some steam by playing air hockey if things get too stressful or if we just want to have fun because that is important too. Of course, Evie, our furry VP of Culture, has given our new home her paw stamp of approval, too😊.
Even though we have only been in our new digs for a short time, we have already made so many great memories here. We recently had our 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt in our new building. Our neighbors downstairs all joined us on our very grown-up egg hunt, as did Evie, who opened her first-ever Easter egg. We hid eggs all over the office and had prizes for grabs, including candy, wine, gift certificates, lottery scratch-offs, and even cash!
In March, we were feeling festive and celebrated St. Patricks Day by dressing up in green to avoid getting pinched! Even Evie got involved and wore a green bow to celebrate the Irish holiday.
We have also celebrated a couple of staff birthdays. To celebrate Megan and Farrah’s special days, we headed over to Terry’s Black BBQ in Dallas, where we sampled some of their fantastic food, and Evie was more than willing to clean up the under-table scraps. We had great fun and enjoyed the amazing food they have to offer.
